Police Seize 100 Pounds Of Fentanyl Worth $2.25M In Mattapan Raid; 3 Charged: DA

Authorities uncovered a major fentanyl operation recently when they unearthed 100 pounds of the drug, several pill presses, and stacks of priority mail envelopes meant to transport the dangerous synthetic opioid anywhere in the country, police said.

Rahelin Reynoso, 33, and Quenty Ogando, 44, face charges of trafficking more than 200 grams of fentanyl, and a judge set their bail at $100,000, the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office said. Erika Prado, 31, received a $50,000 bail, authorities added.

Postal Inspectors, Homeland security agents, Massachusetts State Troopers, and Boston police officers raided the apartment at 43 River Street near Old Morton Street in Mattapan last week, the prosecutor said. 

The drugs had a street value of $2.25 million, authorities added.
